FADE Neuro Video Analyzer ("FADE," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by FadeByMigz LLC, located at 20913 Road 24.3 SW, Mattawa, WA 99349, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through our authentication provider, Clerk. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Video Files: When you upload a video for analysis, the video is temporarily transmitted to Google's Gemini AI service for processing. We do not permanently store your video files. Videos are deleted from Google's servers after analysis is complete, typically within minutes.

Analysis Results: The AI-generated analysis of your video (scores, findings, recommendations) is stored in our database so you can access it from your analysis history.

Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, CVV, or full card details. Stripe provides us only with a transaction reference and the last four digits of your card for receipt purposes.

Usage Data: We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sites. We collect anonymous, aggregated events such as "analysis started" and "analysis completed" to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide the service: Analyzing your videos, displaying results, and maintaining your analysis history.
To process payments: Managing credit purchases and subscriptions through Stripe.
To improve the product: Aggregated, anonymized analysis data may be used to improve our scoring accuracy and AI models. Individual video content is never used for training purposes.
To communicate with you: Account-related emails such as payment receipts or service updates. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate FADE. Each has its own privacy policy:

4. Data Retention

Video files: Deleted immediately after analysis is complete. Not stored on our servers.
Analysis results: Retained in your account history until you request deletion.
Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).

5. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard measures:

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
Database access is restricted to authenticated, authorized requests only.
Authentication is handled by Clerk, which implements enterprise-grade security including multi-factor authentication support.
Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data: View all analysis results stored in your account at any time.
Delete your data: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Export your data: Request a copy of your analysis results in a standard format.
Opt out of analytics: Vercel Analytics is cookieless and privacy-friendly by default. No opt-out is needed as no personal tracking occurs.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing is contract performance (providing the service you signed up for) and legitimate interest (improving our product). You may contact us to exercise your rights under GDPR.

7. Cookies

FADE does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Vercel Analytics) is cookieless. Authentication sessions are managed by Clerk using secure, essential cookies required for login functionality only.

8. Children's Privacy

FADE is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the application. Continued use of FADE after changes constitutes acceptance.
